• I really want to the thank the folks at CitiQuiet for the work they did to my new apartment. I recently got a job in Miami and let me tell you - coming from a homey little suburb in New Jersey, I didn't realize how loud the city could get! My neighbors like to play music all day long when I need to do some work from home; and when the sun goes down, the Miami nightlife noises are incessant! My sleep was lacking, and in turn, I was grouchy and not as productive a worker as I could be.
  
  I spoke with my landlord and apparently the walls were pretty well insulated so my noise dilemma was due to the quality of my windows. My apartment is a loft, so the ceilings are really high with very large windows, allowing plenty of sunlight to shine through. But at that point, I was really starting to reconsider my residence of choice. I googled soundproofing windows and CitiQuiet was one of the first results so I checked them out. The rep on the phone was super friendly and did not make up some bull just to get the sale (I work in sales myself so I can spot insincerity right off the bat). Just like their website, he told me that their soundproofing technique does not eliminate 100% of all outdoor noise - but they sure come close enough for comfort.
  
  What I liked the most about the product (besides finally getting a good night's sleep!) was that they did not have to do any major construction. They were in and out of my place in just a couple hours and all they did was add a special unit on to the windows that were already there. Basically, if I WANT to open myself up to the sounds from the outside, I have that option!
  
  What a HUGE difference!! The first night with my new windows in place I slept like a baby and honestly, felt at home for the first time since I moved down here. I don't have to turn up my TV to overpower the others noise and when I want quiet time - I get it. Definitely a great investment; I would recommend these guys to anyone!

  I really want to thank everyone at Cityquiet for a great experience. First, the product. Yesterday was seriously transformative. I have lived in 70 Washington for 3 1/2 years facing the Manhattan Bridge. I guess I just got used to the noise. It was frankly eerie how quiet it was in the apartment last night. So it's a brilliant product. I slept better last night than I have in years. I think I might have actually woken up happy for a change!!!
  
  The guys who did the job yesterday were excellent too. I actually worked from home yesterday because I was nervous about the whole installation process. Would the custom blinds I have be taken down and reinstalled properly. Would they mangle my floors and walls? Would they break anything hauling in those giant windows? Needless to say I was beyond happy with the care and speed they took doing the job.
  
  So all in all, a great experience. I work in client service so I know you probably hear mostly complaints, not compliments. So thought I'd take a quick moment to share...

  My window installation yesterday was fantastic! It all began when two installers arrived at 8:45am for a 9am appointment. I was so pleased and shocked they were a few minutes early so they could prepare. They were courteous, helpful, efficient, and respectful. I have had nothing but an extremely positive experience and would highly recommend your company to any of my friends.

• My CitiQuiet sound proof window was installed on Monday and what a difference it made; most of the small noises were non-existent and the loud truck rumbling from the echoing highway from Route 4 (it rings from the valley below the cliff where I live) is almost not noticeable when trying to sleep. It was almost too quiet for me to sleep in the last 2 days or so! I just wanted to thank you guys for going through the details with me and answering all of my questions; I think your windows are great and well worth the price. Oh, and the installation guys were great as well, they finished the job so quickly (20 minutes) and they were very professional. Thank you for your efforts.

There's so much noise on my block these days -- between two schools, a club, a hotel, garbage trucks, and a construction job happening across the street. When the last window was sealed and closed, the apartment instantly felt the way it does on a quiet holiday weekend Sunday when the streets are deserted. Hearing (or not hearing) for that matter, truly is believing. These windows may end up saving my sanity, as well as my home recordings!
