• Do you make hurricane and soundproof windows in one window?
  
  Hurricane windows and sound proof windows are very similar in that they both utilize lamination during the glazing process. In hurricane windows it is the lamination that helps to protect against breakage from the storm. In sound proof windows it is the lamination that helps to break down noise that would normally pass through the glass. Since laminated glass is used in hurricane windows it will also help to reduce noise.
• I want to get an awning type window, does your product work for these types of windows?
  
  Yes. The Citiquiet window works with an awning window. An awning window hinges at the top and swings out from the living space to the out doors therefore a Citiquiet Operable Picture or Slider or even Hinge unit can be used.
• How much noise can be reduced using your Soundproof Windows?
  
  CitiQuiet offers a variety of soundproofing levels ranging from 60% to Virtual Silence, but with all of our noise elimination windows we guarantee100% noise elimination satisfaction.
• Can Citiquiet windows be opened? Is it possible to use air conditioner with these windows?
  
  Yes they open. Citiquiet windows will operate in the same fashion as your existing windows
  Yes you can use air conditioning. Citiquiet windows can be designed to work with your air conditioning units.
• What about my existing blinds?
  
  In most instances, your blinds can be remounted to enable CitiQuiet Windows to be installed. The work is performed at no cost by CitiQuiet at the time of the installation of your new windows.
• Can I clean my sound proof windows?
  
  CitiQuiet windows will not become dirty as quickly or often as other windows as the CitiQuiet windows is Interior and not exposed to the outside elements. However, cleaning the CitiQuiet window is simple as it is completely operable and removable.
• Is it possible to install your windows on the exterior of the existing windows?
  
  On occasion, CitiQuiet Interior Windows are installed on the exterior of your existing windows. However, this would require building approval and may not be the best solution for your noise issues.
• Will I have problem with building management to install sound proof windows?
  
  CitiQuiet windows are known and accepted throughout New York City and the Continental United States and always allowed in your building. On occasion, your building management may request additional information from our office, we will gladly handle this for you at no additional costs.
• What type of glass is used in your soundproof windows?
  
  CitiQuiet offers a variety of glass for all your soundproofing and thermal needs 1/8", 1/4", 1/4" Laminated, 3/8", 3/8" Laminated, 1/2", 1/2" Laminated, 1", 1" Laminated. All glass can be chosen, clear, SuperClear (Starfire), Low E, or tinted the color of your choice
• What type of other windows do you offer?
  
  CitiQuiet offers interior windows, replacement windows and primary windows for new construction. Interior windows are custom installed on the inside of your existing windows and are completely operable or removable for access to your existing window
• Can I access my existing windows?
  
  Yes, all CitiQuiet Interior windows operate in identical fashion to your existing window giving you complete access to your existing window.
• Can CitiQuiet windows be concidered a storm window?
  
  Some people have referred to CitiQuiet Windows as storm windows and in certain aspects it is a fair comparison, but CitiQuiet windows go beyond storm windows and cannot be considered one.
• Will your sound proof windows ruin my interior look?
  
  No, once the CitiQuiet Interior window is installed, you will have complete access to your existing window. We will line up any frames and glass from window to window eliminating additional obstructions and the CitiQuiet Interior Window will virtually disappear in the window opening.
